The Quran’s Light-Understanding Aqeeda with Quran

This book is designed to help children build a strong foundation in Iman (faith) by introducing them to its six pillars through the words of the Qur’an. Each concept is supported by carefully selected verses, explained in a child-friendly way using stories, discussions, and interactive activities. Jundub ibn Abdillah (radiy Allahu anhu) said,

“We were with the Prophet ﷺ and we were young men, nearing puberty. We learnt Iman before we learnt the Qur’an. Then we learnt the Qur’an, and increased our Iman through it.”(Ibn Majah)

This narration reminds us of the importance of building faith first, and then strengthening it through the Qur’an.

“[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.” (Surah Sad 38:29)

True education is that which improves a person’s knowledge and understanding of his din, making him aware of the purpose of his creation and his role in life. It builds in the heart strong Iman, enabling one to distinguish between right and wrong, and compelling one to follow the right and avoid the wrong. True education is not a luxury—it is a social necessity. It is the foundation for achieving the success, dignity, and strength that were seen in the earliest generations of Muslims.
